I have put together a list of 14 Main Courses you really want to consider including on your Vegan Christmas Dinner. Dare I say, you will impress non-vegan guests surely.
From the classics Meatloaf and Roast to “veganly” revisited classics and a very special Lasagna or Pie, even an amazing Stuffing that is a main in itself.
Let yourself be inspired.

1π Vegan Wellington by Karrissa’s Vegan Kitchen
Sunflower seeds and lentils are the base of this nut-free Wellington.
After adding to that some simple vegetables and a lot of spice, all that is left to do is to wrap that up in some pastry and you have yourself a very impressive main course.

2π Stuffed Roasted Butternut Squash by It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken
This super cute main has a very tasty and perfect textured stuffing.
I don’t know about you but I really feel like stuffing things for the holidays. And if they end-up super tasty that’s always a plus.

3π Vegan Christmas Pie by The Veg Space
If you have never tried a pastry with polenta before that is my gift for you this festive season. It just gives so much taste to it that you’d feel like eaten it on its on.
But go ahead and make the whole thing, the stuffing is also super well balanced and rich with flavor.

4π Whole Roasted Cauliflower by VeEat Cook Bake
Made with whole foods and no oil this recipe is super healthy, not to mention very low in calories.
Very well marinated, the cauliflower soaks so much taste you will find yourself roasting all year.

5π Festive Shiitake Stuffed Seitan Plait by Vegan Food and Living
With a lot of strong flavors and so much texture, this plait is one of my favorite options for the more picky non-vegan guests. Wow them!
And what about they gorgeous serving plate?

6π Mixed mushroom stuffing by Jamie Olivier
Yes, of course you can stuff something with it. It is a stuffing after all. But so good and versatile that you can just eat it as a main or a side dish. It just goes nicely with pretty much anything, really.

7π Vegan Holiday Roast by Vegan Huggs
How gorgeous is that roast!
And don’t be intimidated by the looks of it or how many steps the recipe has. It is actually very straight forward dish to put together.
And so worth it.

8π Whole Roasted Cauliflower with Lemon and Mustard by Good Food
Very simple and fuss-free ingredients (not to mention low-cost too), and not too many kitchen skills. That is what you’ll need to make this (other) version of one of the vegan roasted staples, The Mighty Cauliflower.
This easy sauce makes everything super succulent.
Love how they leave some of the leaves on.

9π Squash, Chestnut & Hazelnut Nut Roast Wreath by Vegan Food and Living
Decorative as a wreath and yummy as a roast.
It doesn’t get any more Christmassy than that.
The ingredients are also all holiday’s favorites and this gorgeous dish is actually a lot easier to make than it looks.

10π Vegan Greek-Style Roast βLambβ by Mouth Watering Vegan
If you want to go beyond impressing your guests and want to fool them, I guess this is the option fr you.
And don’t worry, I don’t think they will mind at all when you them them they are not actually eating anyone.

11π Smoky Southern-Style Meatless Meatloaf by Veganosity
Southern style Christmas main course, yes please!
Smoky flavor and the right texture that is so comforting. It is like eating a giant vegan burger perfectly sauced. What not to love!?

12π Chestnut and Cashew Nut Roast by Thinly Spread
They got won me with the chestnuts and when reading the ingredients further and finding butternut squash in there too, I was sold.
I am all about contrasting textures and flavors. And I think this fairly simple vegan Christmas dinner recipe can achieve a lot of that.
Extra points for the different format.

13π Nutty Wild Rice and Shredded Brussels Sprout Stuffed Mini Pumpkins by Half Baked Harvest
Minis are extra cute and that is usually a fact.
And if you check the ingredients and spices that go inside these cuties (totally a main on their own) you will be scattering them all over your festivities.
Harvest food sorted!

14π Best Vegan Lasagna by Cookie and Kate
I think lasagna is special. I mean, it is not every day you make one from scratch with everything it deserves.
It is also the kind of food that rank high on people’s cheat days.
Well, sounds perfect for a vegan Christmas dinner to me.
And this recipe seems a show stopper.
I am positive you are inspired by now.
However, if you are not ready to commit to a main course just yet, you can start with our list of Christmas Appetizers or even our 23 Vegan Christmas Cookies.
And don’t worry, you don’t have to choose only one.

Carol
